I just see pets as a waste in time and money.

I would... I mean I can personally do without them. It's not like I don't like animals but they aren't a necessity for me. My boyfriend loves animals and I sometimes wish he didn't so much. He has a snake that I'm terrified of and I just think snakes are gross.... But he also has a dog and I'm cool with it but he does get annoying sometimes.

I would only hate a guy who harmed animals, not someone who just didn't like having pets. I personally have three pets. I just love having them around and taking care of them. The way I see it, if you can't take care of the pet then don't get one. So no I would not hate you if you didn't like pets, as long as you didn't hate me for having them :)
