Please help I have a project about pets due tomorrow so please help me!!!!!?

Ok... so how many pets would you say an average American has? If you can please research it bacuase my computer is really slow so I can't do any research at all! I mean it toke me 1 hour just to get here! So I'm in 6th grade and I really would apreciate if you could research the qeustion for me!

That's a hard question to answer. It all depends on the person and family who are taking care of the pets. For me and my mom we can only afford to take care of one pet at a time. My aunt, uncle, and cousin own 1 bird, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. They take good care of each one of them and can afford to take care of them. As long as they can afford many pets and will be able to take care of each of them and give them a loving home there is no reason for them to have many pets.

So how many does an average American own it can vary. I'd say usually 1 or 2 but some can have more than 2.
