And do you treat your pets as if they were your children, such as spoiling them rotten?
Is there anyone who would rather have pets than kids? If so, why?-Myspace pets www.myspace.com
yes
My husband died 6 years ago, I don't care for another relationship. We didn't have any children.
About a year after he died, I started feeding stray cats, finally got one to come in who had run away from abuse. She then had 3 kittens. I don't think they are spoiled, we are lucky to have each other.

pets don't smash up the car and bring it home empty.

Yes, I spoil my dog so bad that my mother questions me, lol. I just feel closer to animals than people. I dunno, maybe some day I will have children, but right now, I am a puppy mom!!!
Yes, I have lots of pets, no kids. I treat them very very well and they are all spoiled rotten.
i dont have either. if i had to choose, i would choose pets. they are just more understanding i think, and not so much hastle as kids
I want to have kids, but I think there are people who preffer animals because it楹搒 a less expensive choice and you don楹搕 have to take so much care of a pet as you would whit a child!
Thats an interesting question! I do know someone who has one of those kids that you could only describe as a right royal Philistine. I'm left assuming that he would prefer to have jaws as a pet in his swimming pool!
Pets are alot less responsibility than children. Children are alot more rewarding than a dog will ever be. Before kids I got myself two dogs who I used to treat like kids. Unfortunately once the kids were born the dogs got the back burner.
My husband and I don't plan to have a kid for a few more years, so our dog is the only thing that depends on us. We don't call ourselves his mom and dad and we don't dress him up or anything. When he doesn't listen, we can put him outside for awhile.
a) I'm too old to have kids.
b) Pets are much less expensive. Ain't no pet gonna be wantin' college tuition when I'm a geezer wantin' to be retirin'.
c) When the pet is all used up, you pack it in a plastic bag and throw it in the garbage. Can't do that with a kid.
d) My cat was honestly glad to see me every single day. Cain't say that about a kid, can you?
Nah, I never spoiled the cats rotten. I just let 'em run loose.
